TL;DR — On Omarchy, Codeep now appears in the Agents panel with its plan, and its models count toward the panel's "Mostly …" line. A new local usage ledger in ~/.codeep/usage keeps no prompt text or paths.
Added
- Codeep in Omarchy's Agents panel. On Omarchy, Codeep writes its own
record where the bar's Agents panel reads every agent's usage (~/.local/state/omarchy/agents/usage/codeep.json, or under $XDG_STATE_HOME when that is set). The panel lists Codeep with its plan — the provider it used last — and Codeep's models count toward the panel's "Mostly …" line. The record holds all-time counts (prompts, sessions, active days and tokens by model), the model names, the dates Codeep was used on and the provider's name, with no prompt text and no file paths. Today's and this week's numbers are not written: Codeep can update the record only while it runs, so on a day it does not run they would still show the last day it did. It is written a couple of seconds after Codeep is first used, then at most once a minute while Codeep keeps working. Show in Omarchy's Agents panel in /settings (On by default, shown only on Omarchy) turns it off, and Off removes the record. Omarchy's own providers.codeep.enabled = false hides it as well.
- A local usage ledger. Every model call
/costcounts adds a line to
~/.codeep/usage/<year>-<month>.jsonl with the time, the provider, the model and its token counts, and every prompt you send — a chat message or an agent task, typed or started by a command such as /go, in the terminal or from an editor — a line with the time and a hash of its session id. No prompt text, no file contents, no paths, no session names, and Codeep sends it nowhere. The Omarchy record is worked out from it. Counting starts with this release.
